I like Lipstick Queen (even after Poppy King sold it), for its fragrance-free and non-irritating lipsticks. The lipsticks are also fairly moisturizing.
The “Nothing But the Nudes” collection is supposed to impart a “vinyl-like look and feel” to your lips. While they are comfortable to wear, I do not consider them truly “shiny” — and definitely not vinyl-like.
The first 3 (The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing But the Truth) were the “core” shades and I believe they came out before the others did.
Some of the shades are not hugely different from one another, being as they are all “nudes”, but look closely and you should absolutely see the variations. This collection does allow for you to be nit-picky in your selection of the “perfect” nude!
Swatches
My favorites are The Whole Truth and Sweet As Honey. The Whole Truth was the first shade of the collection I tried. I was dubious at best. However, I found I liked it for a change from my typical cool pinks and sheer reds. With the proper amount of fake tanner in use, my face looks warm in a good way.
Sweet As Honey is the shade I reach for the most. I haven’t been able to get away with “light” or frosty pinks now that I’m no longer a very young woman. (Let’s say I’m getting close to 40.) This shade gives me the feel of a frosty pink without making me look like an old lady living in Florida or like that crazy neighbor who never left the 1970’s . . .
