As a follow-up to my post about leg makeup (here), I wanted to post some swatches of Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Spray and Dermabled Leg and Body Cover.
Both of these products will give greater coverage than Per-fekt and Vita Liberata. They also come in a broad range of colors to suit your skin tone. Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs is available in drugstores and on Amazon, here. Airbrush Legs is available in 6 shades in the spray version, from “Fairest” up to “Deep.” It is also availble in lotion form in 5 shades.
In my opinion, deep is very red toned as opposed to brown toned. It doesn’t look right on me. I prefer to use a mix of “Tan” and “Medium” shades when I want coverage.
I recently bought Dermablend Leg and Body Cover in Bronze, just to try it out. It turns out that this “Bronze” is even lighter than Sally Hansen’s “Medium.”
I wasn’t sure whether to expect a lotiony formula or a thick makeup consistency from Dermablend. It turns out that it is very thick, and much more on the makeup side than the lotion side. I probably would not use this all over my legs unless I had a bad rash or needed extra coverage for some reason. But it’s good to know there is a product that gives as much coverage as you may ever need. I’ve heard great things about Dermablend in general.
Take a look at some quick swatches below!
