I didn’t even blink between the time I saw the new shades of Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint for sale online and the time I pressed the “Place Your Order” button. Bobbi’s Extra Lip Tint in Bare Pink was such a hit last year that I knew these two new additions would be hot as well.
So what are they?

Tarte Lipsurgence Skintuitive Lip Tint and Gloss- “Energy” & e.l.f. Gotta Glow – Swatches and Review: Color Adjusting Series Part 7 and Redux
In Parts 1-6 of the Color Adjusting Lip Series I reviewed a total of 13 lip tints, balms, and glosses that change color when applied to the lips. Of the 13 I’ve shown you, 3 came from bargain brands, 6 from mid-level brands, and 4 from luxe brands. Today I’m adding to that list one more from a bargain brand, e.l.f., and two more from a mid-level brand, Tarte.
Let’s look back at some photos of the products in Parts 1- 6. Below the image gallery you’ll see a link to a table that shows the 13 reviewed products as well as the products yet to come in Parts 8 and 9.

Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint – Bare Pink – Review, Swatches & Ingredients (Color Adjusting Lip Series Part 5)
Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint – Bare Pink – Color Adjusting Lip Series: Part 5
While I’m on a roll with Bobbi Brown products, I’ll go ahead and show you this cool new balm she released. (I’m calling it a balm, but go ahead and call it a lip glow, tint, or even treatment.) Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint – Bare Pink has been elusive and very hard to track down online. I finally got my hands on a few of them and one is going to be a prize in a giveaway contest very soon! Of course, the other two will be staying in my purse and my vanity. What can I say? I’m still a little bit selfish!
Let’s begin by looking at the unexpected packaging for this balm, which has the feel of other Bobbi lip products but with different coloring.
Trish McEvoy Lip Perfector Conditioning Balm and Sephora Color Reveal Lip Balm – Reviews & Swatches (Color Adjusting Lip Series Part 4)

Sephora’s Color Reveal Balm in Unique Pink – $13
Trish McEvoy Lip Perfector Conditioning Balm – $32
IPKN Twinkle Lips and Arrow Boost Color Enhancing Lip Balm – Review, Swatches, and Ingredients (Color Adjusting Series Part 3)
Color Adjusting Lip Series: Part 3
Have you heard of the brands IPKN and Arrow? They were new to me as of about a month ago. I noticed them on Birchbox.com, where Arrow is being sampled this month. I don’t know the whole scoop on IPKN– I could have sworn it was a Korean brand, but then I found out that its name stands for: “Independent Professional Knowledgeable New Yorker, IPKN.” So, perhaps it’s a Korean brand made for New Yorkers…? I’ll stop foolishly speculating. But if you do know, please comment at the bottom of the post.
I picked these two brands to sample because they both make a color adjusting lip balm and were not outrageously expensive. So come along while I introduce these guys and show you some swatches.
Givenchy Mister Gentlebalm Lipcolor Enhancing Balm – Review, Swatches, and Ingredients (Color Adjusting Series Part 2)
Part 2: Color Adjusting Lip Products
This review of Givenchy Mister Gentlebalm is officially Part of 2 of my “Color Adjusting Lip Products” series. So far I’ve reviewed two Catrice products, and one each from Dior and It Cosmetics, which I’ll now call Part 1.
Givenchy Mister Gentlebalm is different from the other adjusting lip products I’ve reviewed so far because it comes in a jar instead of a stick (.17 oz for $32 and up). (Note that Givenchy has another very similar product called Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Magic Lip & Cheek Balm Rosy Glow.)
Mood lipsticks (and mood rings!) have been around for a while (I’m remembering the wonderful 1980’s products), but they were off my radar as a serious cosmetic until Dior Lip Glow appeared and became a smash hit.
Many other cosmetic brands have their own versions of Dior’s Lip Glow. Today I’m looking at Dior Lip Glow against It Cosmetics Vitality Lip – Je Ne Sais Quoi, Catrice Lip Glow and Catrice Tinted Glow Lip Balm.
