What a bunch of pretty things on my vanity this morning! Let’s look at the Clinique Sculptionary Palette in Defining Sugars:
I never thought I’d say this, but: “no filter!”!
This is a brand new Clinique product that looked interesting and appealed to me because it is marketed as sheer.
The Lip Colour comes in a traditional Clinique outer package, with an appealing plastic casing of sheer candy looking pink and a chrome top.
It is in lipstick form, with a slanted tip, and applies easily and smoothly. It felt really good on my parched winter lips. There is no scent, taste, or glitter to worry about!
The color is a blue based pink, very cool and very pretty. Being a dark haired and pink undertone woman, I love this color! I would call the finish “natural” with a moist sheen, and not a real matte or gloss finish.
Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any affects from the “Primer” part of this Lip Colour. The color and sheen wore off fairly quickly as I drank some Diet Dr. Pepper and snacked on a banana!
Since I don’t mind re-applying my lip color, I give it a thumbs up!
