I prefer to spend as little time as possible doing my nails, especially during the summertime. If I had a fairy godmother I’d ask her for shiny, pinkish nails, that stay nicely rounded forever, and I would agree to give up nail polish in exchange. I can live without nail color, except from time to time when I try out new shades, and the brights I like for my toenails. (BUT I will be showing you some new brights from vegan/”my natural” brands in upcoming posts!)

Diptyque L’Art Du Soin Soothing Lip Balm & Dior Crème de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm – Review and Photos – Part 5: Lip Balms and Treatments Series
In this Part 5 of my Lip Balms and Treatments Series I am reviewing luxury lip balms from Diptyque and Dior.
Diptyque’s L’Art Du Soin Soothing Lip Balm is a fairly new release, and is part of Diptyque’s skincare line. Dior’s Crème de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm has been around for a while, and seems to be ever popular at Sephora. In fact, it was on my “wish list” for over a year before I recently bought it.
Dior Addict Lip Glow Liner Limited Edition- 001 Universal Pink: Review & Swatches (Color Adjusting Lip Series Part 8)
For this Part 8 of the Color Adjusting Lip Series, I bumped the comparison review of Dior Addict Lip Glows, 001, 004, and 005 and of the Physicians Formula pH powered Glosses in Natural, Dark Pink, and Light Pink, to instead show you this limited edition Dior Addict Lip Glow Liner- 001- Universal Pink. For me, at least, it seems like this product was released quietly or under the radar. That’s too bad because interested people may end up missing it while it’s available.
Spring 2016 Launch: Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss Lipgloss- Pearl- 259 and Tell Me Dior- 369: Review and Swatches
Have you heard anything yet about Dior’s Spring 2016 (re)launch of Addict Ultra-Gloss? You know there is a Dior Addict Lip Gloss of course, but this is Ultra Gloss.
What’s the difference? Per Dior, Addict Ultra-gloss is a “lip plumper and gloss all in one.” It supposedly “produces a natural volume effect instantly and day after day.” That is because it’s “bursting with hyaluronic acid spheres that capture and retain the surrounding water.” It is meant to “quench lips, leaving them full and lastingly moisturized. With 70% mirror-shine stretch oils, Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss glides smoothly over the lips to create a spectacular glossy effect with a film so fine and comfortable you almost forget it’s there.” (These are not my words. Credit to Dior for phrases in quotation marks.)
Violets Are Not Blue – Essence, Wet-n-Wild, Cover Girl Oh Sugar!, NYX Butter Lipstick, Maybelline, and Dior Addict Lip Glow- Lilac – The Purples
Attention, lips! Calling Purple lip products – Swatches, Photos, and Review
Mother Nature must have been confused when she recently ushered in a huge mass of warm air during the time of year that should be frigidly-frigid. Rather than fight it, I’m joining in the chaos and pulling out some springy lip colors in the purple zone. By the way, the color violet is somewhere between purple and blue so technically I am not showing you anything violet. Just wanted you to know that. And quick, what movie is this from?: “You’re turning violet, Violet!” (answer at bottom of page).
Today’s swatch line up consists of a broad array of lip products in many brands and of many consistencies. Let’s begin with: Essence, Wet-n-Wild, Maybelline, Cover Girl, NYX, and Dior Addict. Oh and by the way, I happened to find a new favorite in this bunch and it was quite unexpected!
Mood lipsticks (and mood rings!) have been around for a while (I’m remembering the wonderful 1980’s products), but they were off my radar as a serious cosmetic until Dior Lip Glow appeared and became a smash hit.
Many other cosmetic brands have their own versions of Dior’s Lip Glow. Today I’m looking at Dior Lip Glow against It Cosmetics Vitality Lip – Je Ne Sais Quoi, Catrice Lip Glow and Catrice Tinted Glow Lip Balm.
