At some point a blogger has to decide whether she is writing for herself or for the benefit of faceless others.
When I started this blog in January of this year I intended to review and swatch makeup, and build an outlet to talk about my love of luxury beauty and candles. After a couple of months I realized I was writing a lot about “natural” and gluten free skincare and cosmetics. Obviously you can’t change who you are and my interests naturally veer there. And since starting this blog in January I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about the ingredients I put into my body, as well as what I put on it.

I take great pleasure in leaving my boys and husband at home while I take a leisurely, solo, shopping trip. And luckily, there is pretty much never a time when we don’t need some groceries and other sundries. So I typically head to Target, and usually late on a Sunday morning. I may be imagining it, but the moms and dads shopping with their kids seem to look at me longingly, wishing they were alone like me.

I won’t belabor the fact that you need SPF, and I won’t repeat that I believe physical sunscreen is the way to go. I won’t tell you again how difficult it is to find products that I deem “natural” and acceptable, and that I want to use. Instead I’m going to tell you about the product I’ve been using and loving ever since it came to my doorstep.
